SimER Transport

The Transport component uses the information provided by Water Flow and other components to calculate the transport of contaminants. In undertaking these calculations it uses information from the Physical and Chemical Evolution component on biogeochemical reactions that affect contaminant transport properties (for example, sorption coefficients).

The Transport comportment outputs matrix showing contaminant amounts and magnitude of fluxes transfering between the various compartments. This demonstrates that the biosphere model is configured correctly for various time points, thus enabling the primary pathway to be identified.
