The Inventories component enables the user to specify the initial inventory of contaminants in the Engineered part of the system. In addition, any subsequent disposals or remediation of contaminants can be specified. For a waste disposal facility, contaminants may be in waste packages. The component effectively provides the `source term' for later calculations of contaminant transport. Example application of the Inventories component is shown below (please click to view).
