Peter Booth joined the team in 1991 and has played a leading role in an extensive range of projects involving site characterisation, radioactive waste disposal, BPEO development, stakeholder engagement, contaminated land assessment and environmental legislation. Peter also has considerable experience in managing large scale integrated contaminated land projects on a variety of BNFL sites.
Peter has acted as project manager for a number of international projects and represented the IAEA on expert missions, document production and workshop chairmanship. Through this work, Peter has gained extensive experience in Eastern Europe, being involved in work in Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Romania, Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
Peter holds a BSc in Geology and has represented BNFL on a number of external organisations such as SAGTA and the CIRIA SAFEGROUNDS project.
