Jeremy Edwards

Jeremy Edwards joined the team in 1996 to lead the development of option evaluation methods for the long-term management of historic liabilities. He has continued to specialise in the areas of BPEO, and BPM. Key projects include legacy fuel management, options for managing redundant facilities, managing key waste streams for both operations and decommissioning projects.

Managing the Operations and Environmental Management team, Jeremy is responsible for:

• environmental safety cases to support both new design projects and existing operations,
• authorisation support for nuclear licensed sites preparing submissions against key requirements such as the Radioactive Substances Act, Pollution Prevention and Control regulations, COMAH, etc.
• environmental assessment and management, including the production of Environmental Statements to support planning applications.

Jeremy holds an MSC in Environmental Geotechnology and has represented the IAEA on both expert missions and the production of technical guidance.
