NNL use a wide variety of industry standard and in-house, bespoke codes to provide tailored solutions for a wide range of customers.

We have developed a series of in-house environmental codes ranging from assessment level to supporting level:

• Simulation of Environmental Risks (SimER)
• ReCLAIM
• Remediation Models
• TRansport and Fluid Flow Including Chemistry (TRAFFIC)
• Generalised Repository Model (GRM)

Industry standard codes include:

• GoldSim
• MODFLOW & MODFLOW-SURFACT
• ConSim
• PHAST (simulates groundwater flow, solute transport, and multicomponent geochemical reactions)
